GO BANANA

GUEST BLOG

Go Banana became our home base for the whole trip. Not just Tokyo, but everything. We'd explore the city, then use it as a launchpad for a few days out in Naoshima (the art islands), then come back and slide right back into the rhythm of the place like we'd never left. That return felt special.

After a long day in Tokyo, surfing neighborhoods and getting properly lost on the subway, we collapsed back into Go Banana and immediately exhaled.

Gabe came back with a hand-painted Pikachu scroll and many souvenirs. We also decided to gift a special book we found on our travels for Harrison and other Go Banana guests to enjoy.

Oh, and the bath. We both loved the bath. After miles of walking and trains and exploring, that soak was everything.

The fact that we kept coming back, and wanted to spend more time to relax here says it all. Already planning the next trip.

Gabe & Ginger

Gabe & Ginger are power creatives from LA; between iconic neon art around California, full time ad agency creative direction, and post-production color on notable films and ads. Gabe and Ginger know what's trending and have a vision. They recently spent 2 weeks in Japan with Go Banana Tokyo as their home base to rest, and relax.

Staying at Go Banana was like getting a slice of Japanese life. It’s SUPER close to the train line with easy access, yet in a quieter area.

I loved going out and being in the thick of Tokyo and then being able to come home and relax (in the wicked soaker tub).

Harrison was an amazing and gracious host. His insider tips led me to the most amazing food and site seeing (not to mention meeting lots of locals out and about). With all the amenities and a very comfortable bed, it was the perfect place to stay that I hope to visit again!
